I have removed the old one and re installed a new trial and my font is set to about 72 and I am not able to fix it. I need microsoft to do my assignments, what could possibly be wrong? I get a message that something is locked when I try to type something in the new document

There is also OpenOffice. Its a free Office Suite in the opensource community. It is a very mature product.

Your trial period expired, removing old copy and reinstall again does not make it forget you had already installed before.
