puppy tails?

Question

does a puppy's tail have to do with it's eventual size? there is a chihuahua i want, and she is so tiny, but she has kind of a long tail. she is already two months old, but i'm afraid a long tail means she's going to grow really big and i want a tiny dog! and i don't have her parents so i can't guess how big she'll be that way.

here is a chart figure her age and weigh her now and this chart has been very accurate. I've been breeding chis for 20 + years and no the lenghth of the tail has nothing to do with it.

The Chihuahua Weight Chart is great to use as a guideline to estimate a mature weight within a quarter of a pound or so. This table is used only as a guide, as many things can affect the mature weight of a puppy. Weight may vary depending on its bloodline, genetics, how well the animal is fed, etc. Weight estimates before the age of 8 weeks old are often inaccurate because the puppy is still nursing or being weaned and may be heavier due to fat from the mother's rich milk. No . this is now unlawful to dock domestic dogs tails interior the united kingdom till they're a particular operating breeder and the breeder can instruct they are going to do the interest they're bred for or perhaps then it might want to be troublesome to come across a vet which will do it as they understand what a brutal prepare this is and vets are the in worry-free words one legally allowed to do it. also they received't dock at 4 weeks old they want to be performed interior some days of beginning. So even if or not they were this certain breeds to be worked this is a criminal offense to do it so late .so for you to record the breeder to the RSPCA who can take criminal action hostile to him/her. in case you purchase this puppy and take to a vet they are going to quetsion why this is docked and characteristic to record it. The vaccinations won't be able to be performed formerly 8 weeks old as they received't paintings so a waste of money back no vet might want to vacciation that early. this isn't a breeder you favor to purchase a puppy from. they are not a respected breeder only yet another BYB who might want to be stay away from. you want to come across a respected breeder will stay away from alot of money and heartache interior the destiny.

Like if they weight 2 1/2 Oz.
At birth then there projected
Adult Weight Would be 2 pounds

i don't think a pup's tail has anything to do with his eventual size. I've heard their paws determine size. small paws = small dog, big paws= big dog. I'm not sure though. but is the chiwawa a teacup one or a regular one? teacups are smaller. oh and don't buy buy pups from the pet store. they're kept in horrible conditions. go to nopupppymills.com or something like that for more info.
