Mmmm, I live spinach! Spinach is packed with all kinds of nutrients. As a rule, dark green vegetables and yellow vegetables, have the most nutrients. It's great you're including spinach as part of your diet.
Eaten in its raw form, spinach is the most nutritious. What I like to do with my spinach too, is to steam it, and then to eat it with a little bit of butter, a tiny bit of salt, and some lemon juice. Try that! So good! Also, check on the internet for more spinach recipes.

Yes, spinach salad (raw) can be quite delicious and is common in very swank gourmet restaurants. Try it with balsamic vinegar. You can buy that at any grocery store. As far as 'why' it is higher in iron... well who knows, it just developed that way. Also, try it just wilted (boiled just for an instant) instead of fully boiled to mush. It is very delicate and your body will really love it. Try wilting some raw spinach by submersing in boiling water for a minute or less, then add chopped walnuts, a little sharp cheese, and some balsamic vinegar. Super easy to make and really delicious.

Try growing your own.
Buy a packet of seeds and sprinkle in soil.If you don't have a garden a window box will do. It grows very quickly even this time of year. Young leaves are very tasty in salads, we always have some in a big tub in garden. In summer you can let some go to seed and sow your own again.
Easy peasy

I just started my nutrition class. The nutrient you take daily can not be too little or too much. Although there are no "good" or "bad" foods, but POOR NUTRITION CAN RESULT FROM BOTH INADEQUATE AND EXCESSIVE LEVELS OF NUTRIENT INTAKE." (Unit 1 - Key Nutrition Concepts and Terms)
My grandmother cannot eat spinach because a few years ago she eat too much. Now she has too much iron in her body and her doctor told her not to eat spinach anymore.

It's a dark leafy green vegetable and when cooked (not overcooked) contains more iron than when not cooked.
