uhmmm... this is gonna be quick... i'm 16 years old, and i'm in love with this girl whose in the same year in high school as i am. now, i already told her that i love her, but she said that she wasnt ready and that she was in love with someone else. after she told me that, i told her that i would wait no matter how long, and i got a shaky "ok" in return. now, something weird has happened. you'd expect that this girl would distance herself from me after telling her that. that didnt happen. instead, the both of us are becoming better friends than before i told her i love her. There are also clues all around, including one of her friends hinting to me that she isnt happy with the guy she's in love with. also, i also had the chance to ask her out. she said yes, but she had to beg off bcoz of curfew. at least i asked her out and she said yes! my question is: am i on the right track? please give me your opinion... thanks! God Bless! :)

Yeah, I think you're on the right track. Even tho, she'd not noticed you that much before, when you told her how you sincerely felt about her and then stated you'd wait for her........ no matter how long, I believe that she then took a second, long, hard look at you and began to have positive feelings for you too. She probably was surprised when her feelings for you began to grow, as you were. In this case, it seems to be working out for you both, ( but might not the next time around with another girl). Anyway, good for you!
