Today I have walked a total of 5 miles. Some walking/fast walking mixed a total time of around 2 hours. For breakfast I ate half a bagel with low fat cream cheese (not even a tablespoon) an apple and banana. Lunch salad with no fat dressing (less than 2 tablespoons)1 slice of whole wheat breat with white tuna (no mayo) Dinner pot roast couple ounces of roast beef ( I know it is bad but I usually eat with my family and I walked one of my miles later after dinner) with potatoes, carrots and celery ( about a cup of the veggies) and salad. seems like a big dinner, right? why am I starving now? Did I do breakfast wrong? not enough healthy snacks. (oh I snacked on a couple of baby carrots, about 5 grapes, a couple of small celery sticks, and one apple throughout the day) What the heck? I don't know what to do to keep myself from being hungry without compromising a diet, plus I am not unrealistic. I want to be able to enjoy a meal with my family. I just can't pigout and eat fatty

Dogs are carnivores. OK, for the purists the canine has a limited ability to properly digest and therefore get nutrition from some veg, nuts and fruit. My second Shepherd was "rescued" from idiot owners that had tried every diet on the market (under apparent vets orders). She was at least 25 lbs underweight, her coat was was coming away in handfuls and she could sh!t through the eye of a needle. This dog has been on a natural raw diet for over two years, not once have I seen a "runny poo", she's gained the weight she needed, her coat is heavy, shiny and lustrous. Even a local vet (who was anti raw feeding) is amazed at how well she has done. I only feed my dogs raw meat, it may be lamb, pork, beef, turkey, chicken or rabbit. Plus the other animals I haven't thought of. They get the bone, the guts and thrive tremendously. I don't understand why you keep an animal whose natural diet is meat, who is obviously suffering from the commercial cr@p you're feeding her, and then you say feeding meat is a no no. Sometimes I am amazed that dogs stay with a certain type of owner.

Potatoes has sugar and will make you crave, with me I crave more sugar....sweets. Bread will bloat you up, white flour glues the hairs down in the intestines and no nutrients or little will be absorbed. Other than that I see no problem with your diet. Keep it up and you will start noticing a change with in days. Be aware that some people go through a detox in 3 to 4 days that lasts for a week so if you do go through this don't be alarmed. Pick out a new outfit in a smaller size and when you get to that size, buy it.

Well this could be a good thing! Just make sure your eating the right foods though and getting the excersise, try your best to avoid big meals and eat more but smaller meals thoughout the day as it keeps that motablism going, starving isnt helping you lose weight and neither is eating big meals at one time only eating 3 times a day is! Small meals and Exersice is key(and the right foods!)

My 2 Cents anyway

Instead of watching what your eating, count the calories in it, limit yourself to a certain amount a day. Thats what i do I eat 1400 calories or less a day. If i have some left over after dinner and im hungry i can eat whatever i want as long as i dont go over. I was always hungry for the first week or two but as your stomach shrinks you aren't as hungry.

are you sure you're hungry, or is it a mental thing? i know that sounds silly, but it can in fact be true.

sometimes when i'm hungry at night, i'll wait a bit, and see if it's just a mental habit to eat at night, or if i'm really hungry.

try a slimfast shake, special k cereal (or something of the like, with no sugar), yogurt, some fruit, cottage cheese, or a small salad, if you're really hungry before bed.

lite microwave popcorn always helps me. I try to eat as much fiber as possible. It keeps me filled up. I also like fiber one cereal- it looks and tastes like twigs, but it keeps me full :)
