Once in a while?????

You need carbs and fats all the time. Your eating regimen (i.e., your diet) should be balanced.

Case in point -- I have very very low bodyfat (6%) but my diet is 30% fat. Surprise, surprise -- your body needs good fats. And it needs good carbs (my diet, it makes up 40 - 45%).

Getting and remaining lean isn't about eating a low fat/low carb diet. It is about eating a balanced diet and making good choices, while keeping calories under control and exercising.

I've been doing this a long time, friend.

i think u have some confusion about how to have a good diet.i am a medical student so know some about this matter.fats does not always cause the problem sometime it gives u a good advantage.rich food give the energy to people but if we get it too much and our body doesn`t do any exercises so that`s energy store in our body and make our look so fat.generally, fats always mostly store in our upper arms, thighs and belly.so u can eat fat in appropriate way and do exercises everyday.cos our body build with all the substances if u lose them 1 or 2,u won`t have well-proportion body.thank u.

dietary fats like unsaturated fats, omega 3,6 & 9 fatty acids are essential to maintaining proper health as the body can not manufacture them. they should make up no less than 20% of the daily calories.

consuming fat in the diet doesn't make one fat, a caloric excess over an extended period of time and a sedentary lifestyle does.

carbs are our #1 source of energy.they are essentail to maintain homeostasis!!!as well as fats(also known as lipids)too much of anything is bad for you. carbs and lipids are 2 of the 6 nutrients our body deffinately needs!!!some carbs in our diet is needed. too much is bad! look at a food pyrimid to find out how much of each you should have in your everyday diet.incase you don't know... even fruit has carbs in it; it is measured in your body by Glycemic Index. it's actually really hard to not have carbs everyday.

Fats are absolutely essential in your diet, the body uses fats for many functions. The body can do without any carbohydrates though.
