Hi there...satin balls ideally are not good for cats because the contents are higher in carbohydrates which is more commonly found in canine diets. Felines are obligate carnivores and require more protein to gain weight and maintain the necessary nutrients to remain healthy that are primarily found in feline-only diets (e.g. taurine for heart health).

Canine diets are very different from feline diets which is why we see different products made available. If either species could benefit nutritionally from one another we wouldn't need individual diets catered to each species of pets. Please see the following article as why cats shouldn't eat canine diets: http://www.peteducation.com/article.cfm?cls=0&cat=1276&articleid=1165

Why on Earth would you want to feed satin balls to your cat? You don't live in America,do you? What IS a satin ball?

Edit:OK,I looked them up.I think ,that if you left out half of the cereal, that the cat could eat them with no problem. You might add some chicken livers to the mix as well.

It is not safe for dogs or cats
Cats have more sensitive digestive system then dogs. I would not feed them anything unless prescribed by the vet!
