You should be able to - just open Microsoft Word, go to [file] [open]. If you don't see the document, change the file type to "all files". Then double click on the document and it should come up.

The only thing to remember is when you save the document, you either need to change the file type to Word (.doc) or it will save back as a word pad document. Also, unless you have a CD re-writeable drive, you will need to save it to your hard drive, as you cannot re-write a basic CD.

Yes, but you cant save it back to the CD, you have to save it somewhere else like your C: hard drive for example

yes, just right-click the file >> open with >> Microsoft word
