"How come God hates me"? Do you know people like this? Blames their own stupidity on God?

Yes I know people like that. They figure if they blame God then they dont have to live up to the responsibility of their own lives and mess ups

I think everybody knows somebody who blames all the bad stuff on God. I don't know if they don't want to take responsibility or if they read the horoscope too much. God doesn't hate any of us, and our lives aren't governed by the stars. Satan hates us, and it is he who makes doing stupid things look like the right thing to do. We don't have to do what Satan wants, though. Nobody can mess with our free will.

God don't hate your son, he is just cut off from Him. If he is not born again, he has rejected God not God rejecting him. The Bible says, in John 3:16 " For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him shouldl not perish but have everlasting life. You will find no where in the Bible where God hates anyone. The only thing God hates is a pride of a person, and sin. And if his life is full of sin, that is what's warring against God, and that is why he can't experience the love of God God hates sin. He must remember he is created in the image of God, and God do not hate what He has created. Your son needs spiritual counselling.

My cousin was a little boy when his parents were going through the worst phase of their 'born again' thing. My cousins were forced to watch 'rapture' movies , complete with beheadings and whatnot. He was just a little boy and was scared shitless.
Whenever he did something wrong and got yelled at he would say something like "I can't help it, I'm not saved!" or "I'm going to go to hell!" in a really pitiful anguished voice, it was heartbreaking.
That's what I thought of when I read your question, but other than that no I don't really know anyone who says anything like that.
But...if someone believes they were created by God, and they are stupid...then..aren't they right? Isn't it God's fault that they're stupid? lol

I know people that blame everybody plus God for their own stupidity. It's pretty sad when some people can't even own up to their responsibilities.

No, but I know people who give God credit everytime something good happens, which is such a double standard. If God isn't to blame when something bad happens, then he shouldn't be given the credit when something good happens either. When someone is suffering from an illness, and they recover, Christians say "God healed them".
No...the doctor did that. But they don't blame God for giving them the disease in the first place.

I know lots of people who don't want to take responsibility for their decisions when they don't turn out well. They blame it on any number of things, not just God. They just haven't figured out that it's ok to screw up occasionally, or they don't want to pay the consequences.

As long as he does this and thinks this way, he will never take responsibility for his own actions.
(That is one of the problems with believing in god)

Oh yes. If something good happens to them, they claim it is only due to their superior handling of everything.
But if one single bad thing happens, they are quick to whine, "oh, why does God hate me? Why did He do this to me?"
I mean, the negative happening couldn't possibly have been due to their own lack of judgement, could it?

maybe you should ask your son"why do your hate God?"
did you not do the thing youare so upset about?
God does hate you...you must believe that you deserve to be hated because you keep doing things to screw up
