The answer is simple.....they are NOT atheist......I used to be an atheist before but thankfully not now, 100 % believer now and the atheists here that have not converted yet are only here for one reason, to learn more about God because they are fence sitters still not sure if they want to jump in. REAL atheists like I used to be would never hang out in a place such as this that is full of religion. in their questions and answers they will deny it but that is only so their friends that see their questions an answers will not make fun of them. They will put up a very strong anti-God front but a front is all it really is.....100 % here are secretly fence sitters,..no true atheists here so keep preaching, they really do want to hear it.....and please post here often so we can get all the fence sitters SAVED !!!!!!

Maybe because some of us have more than a passing familiarity with the Bible. Personally, I was raised in a very Christian family. If I know the answer to a question, I respond. Being an atheist does not make me ignorant of Christianity, or any other religion for that matter.

I'm not an Atheist, but I'm also not a Christian. I have studied the bible and I like answering questions that will help the asker find the answer. I understand how annoying it is when people are rude and don't really answer the question, but I know many Atheists that know a great deal about the bible and don't mind answering the questions that people ask.

Yes indeed.
But contrarywise, why do Christians feel the need to answer Atheist questions?
And for the people that say that Atheists don't know anything about Chrsitianity..wrong. All of the Atheists I know were born and raised on some Christian denomination.

I feel Atheist are angry at God. But don't be angry at them they too have a place in the world. Maybe God is working on them in their hearts. Many people who don't believe in God are very intelligent people and have let their knowledge lead their lives. For the most part this is pretty good however if you don't let your heart have a say you can be pretty bitter and cynical. Hope this helps. Remember the main cause for the world turning away from Christianity is 'Christians' who profess the word then act like they are pious and better than them

This question is obviously directed towards atheists for an answer, yet I'm sure your Best Answer will be one of the snide comments from a Christian.
The thing is, even though this is a Q&A forum, the majority of questions are hypothetical and therefore the answer is opinion, not necessarily factual. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, regardless of the topic and which way their opinion swings.

I think they are afraid that maybe Jesus just might be real and that maybe they will figure it out if they check out a christian question. And i also think that their sarcastic answers are just a front. I think they are thinking about praying the sinners prayer and i think they need us as Christians to really pray for their stuburness that they will be saved and that the power of God will pour out on them like never before.I think they are reaching out but don't know how. keep praying for them God still loves them and we should too! God Bless!

I have read the Bible, several times. It is a bit arrogant to think that only Christians can answer questions about the Bible.

Actually I answer serious questions on a variety of religions sincerely. I have answered several questions asking for a particular Bible verse this week alone.
If I know the answer to someone's question, should I not answer it?
Why do you ask a question about atheists and then say that you don't want atheists to answer?
