if not, explain this IN YOUR OWN WORDS christians.

For a woman whose young daughter had an unclean spirit heard about Him [Jesus—KB], and she came and fell at His feet. The woman was a Greek, a Syro-Phoenician by birth, and she kept asking Him to cast the demon out of her daughter. But Jesus said to her, “Let the children be filled first, for it is not good to take the children’s bread and throw it to the dogs.” And she answered and said to Him, “Yes, Lord, yet even the dogs under the table eat from the children’s crumbs.” Then He said to her, “For this saying go your way; the demon has gone out of your daughter.” And when she had come to her house, she found the demon gone out, and her daughter lying on the bed (7:25-30; see also Matthew 15:21-28).

If you haven't been to the Middle East, calling someone a dog is the worst word you can ever call someone, they consider dogs the filthiest animals. So the all merciful Jesus (pbuh) cursed a woman, wasn't that sinful?

On still another occasion, a Phoenician woman earnestly pleaded for Jesus to heal her daughter. Jesus replied that it was inappropriate to give the children’s food to little dogs. He meant that he could not care for non-Israelites at the expense of deserving Jews. Discerning the point of his illustration, the woman nevertheless begged: “Yes, Lord; but really the little dogs do eat of the crumbs falling from the table of their masters.” Her strong faith and sincerity moved Jesus to say: “O woman, great is your faith; let it happen to you as you wish.”

No. Jesus was no sinner. Heb. 4:14, 15 says: "Seeing, therefore, that we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold onto [our] confessing of [him]. 15 For we have as high priest, not one who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who has been tested in all respects like ourselves, but without sin."

To the Jews, dogs were unclean animals. So by alluding to Gentiles as “little dogs,” was Jesus showing prejudice? No, for he had just mentioned his special commission from God to care for ‘the lost sheep of Israel.’ Moreover, by likening non-Jews to “little dogs,” not wild dogs, Jesus softened the comparison. Of course, what he said tested the woman. Humbly, though determined to overcome this objection, she tactfully replied: “Yes, Lord; but really the little dogs do eat of the crumbs falling from the table of their masters.” Impressed with the woman’s faith, Jesus healed her daughter immediately. Matthew 15:22-28.

No, it was common for the Jews to call Gentiles dogs. Jesus was testing her faith by repeating what was a common thing to say at that time. The end result was that her daughter was healed.

he wasn't directly calling her a dog - he was using that as an analogy

the gentiles would have known that Jews had a certain distance they preferred to keep between themselves and non Jews anyways so Jesus was talking to her which many in his situation would not normally have done

plus he did heal her daughter also

Jesus was not calling the woman or her daughter or anyone a dog. He was testing the woman's faith.

Jesus was sinless. It's one of the only things islam got right about Him!

Sahih Muslim (Vol 4, pg 1261):

Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (saw) as saying: The satan touches every son of Adam on the day when his mother gives birth to him with the exception of Mary and her son.

quran 19:19 - The angel) said: "I am only a Messenger from your Lord, (to announce) to you the gift of a righteous son."

He said: I am only a messenger of thy Lord, that I may bestow on thee a faultless son. Sura Maryam 19:19 (Pickthal)

Now this:

He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. 2 Corinthians 5:21 (NAS)

God Bless.

No.
He was speaking thru his culture. And besides, it was her faith in Jesus that healed the child.
At this point in his ministry, Jesus was called to the Jews, but this woman had enough faith to approach him and ask her needs, and the daughter was healed.

Read the entire passage, This woman approached Jesus and He did not respond, and his disciples urged him to turn her way:

21Leaving that place, Jesus withdrew to the region of Tyre and Sidon. 22A Canaanite woman from that vicinity came to him, crying out, "Lord, Son of David, have mercy on me! My daughter is suffering terribly from demon-possession."

23Jesus did not answer a word. So his disciples came to him and urged him, "Send her away, for she keeps crying out after us."

23Jesus did not answer a word. So his disciples came to him and urged him, "Send her away, for she keeps crying out after us."

HE NEVER CALLED HER A DOG, RAHTER SHE REFERRED TO HERSELF IN THAT WAY. BY SAYING EVEN DOGS EAT THE SCRAPS OF CHILDREN, THIS TOUCHED JESUS' HEART. WHY, BECAUSE HE KNEW THAT WHAT YOU DO UNTO THE LEAST YOU DO UNTO ME, AS YOU STATE.
24He answered, "I was sent only to the lost sheep of Israel."

25The woman came and knelt before him. "Lord, help me!" she said.

26He replied, "It is not right to take the children's bread and toss it to their dogs."

27"Yes, Lord," she said, "but even the dogs eat the crumbs that fall from their masters' table."

28Then Jesus answered, "Woman, you have great faith! Your request is granted." And her daughter was healed from that very hour.

THE FACT THAT HE HELPED HER EVEN WHEN SHE LOWERED HERSELF (ACCORDING TO MIDEASTERN STANDARDS) TO SUBHUMAN, HE HELPED HER PROVES THAT JESUS NEVER CURSED HER. RATHER HE SAVED HER CHILD. IF JESUS REALLY THOUGHT SHE WAS A DOG, WHY WOULD HE DO THIS FOR HER?

apparently it's only sinful to man, not God. Jesus never sinned. He cured her daughter. End of sermon.

That's stretching it, I think. There were real, actual dogs back then too, and he was refering in a symbolic way to a real dog, not a person!
