There could be a lot of things going on. You haven't given much info to go on. If he is not eating at all, no drinking, lethargic, lifeless then I would suggest taking him to the vet asap.
If he simply isn't eating, but still acting normal then it could be stress related. Did you just adopt him? Have you moved? Has someone moved out or in? Addition of new pet in the family? All these things can attribute to a dog not eating.

I had a jack russel mised with a daschhund, and he wouldn't eat either. I tried all kinds of different food. Turns out other people were feeding him human food whenever they didn't want it, and he got so used to it that that's all he wanted.

If that's not the problem, try flavoring the food. I don't know what they're called but I'm sure you could go to a local pet store and find different dog food flavor things...you just pour some into the bowl of food and they like it a lot.

i dont want to worry you but if he is acting sleepy and not doing alot he may have parvo and you would want to get him to vet asap especially if purebred but mixed mut like dogs seem to handle treatment much better......... what is dogs behavior besides not eating >?
You change his food how does he normally eat, ?
