Because my female dog(i think she is female) keeps trying to hump me....i thought only male dogs did that? ewwwwwwwww lol

Wow...those with the exception of one were all very interesting answers! I'm wondering if i spoil her too much like by letting her sleep with me...plus she follows me around like a stalker. Thank you everyone for informing me that basically lol as my husband is putting it lol that i'm her *****! lol This will definitly have to change!

This is a dominance behavior. Obviously your dog does not see you as alpha. You need to change this. The family is her pack and each family member is superior to her, she is to be the lowest member of the pack. With rules and training, she will learn her place. Don't let her get away with bad habits, not even once, correct her and reward all good behavior. Dogs learn more and learn faster with positive reinforcement than with negative.

Like some of the other posters have stated, the dog is just showing her dominance. But why do you feel that you need to stop the behavior? It is not destructive or harmful. It is dog world behavior and it will pass. Either the male dog will let her be the boss or he will not. But I think that you need to let their natural behavior run it's course. There is no need to intervene unless they begin to fight.

Ur yeah they're supposed 2. My dog used 2. If ur dog sleeps higher than u or has a special place that is high or if it wins every game of tugof war then it may think that it is dominant and if it thinks that it is dominant then it may not listen 2 u which can be dangerous. u may need 2 be firmer with ur dog and change its sleeping, playing or ur own disiple habits.
Well... Either that or ur dog is a lesbian and it thinks ur sexy!

Yes. I own two female dogs and they do that to eachother to show their dominance over eachother. They try to be the "pack leader" Watch the Dog Whisperer.

Well, if there is no penis on the underside of the dog, it is female. And YES, they do that too. Can be a dominance thing!!!
