So the inflammation and redness is probably from bacteria. Either from food or something he ate outside or daycare. It's very strange, he's super healthy and now he has front gums that are bleeding and sensitive. I know the vet will probably want to start him on antibiotics, so what probiotics can I use with him? He's 1.5 years old and otherwise healthy. Thanks in advance.

First you need a vet to diagnose what is causing the inflammation -your dog may have an abscess and need a dental or tooth removal.
Infections like this are very dangerous, can spread infection throughout the dog's body.

Get him to a vet, find out what the problem is, and get the poor dog some professional help, not guesses on a site like this.

I made the mistake of buying too large a jar of probiotics - 16ozs. and it's now sitting in my refrigerator. I have the B-Naturals probiotics which you can order on line or get the human grade from any pharmacy or health food store. Good luck with your pup.

Terramyacin is available at most pet/feed stores. Call round until you find one who carries it. Add a small pinch to his water to make it turn a slight yellow. Repeat for 3 weeks.

Terramyacin is Tetracycline, fairly inexpensive and perfect for this! It would be better if you could take him to the vet, of course. I've owned animals for years and have used this always with good results and have NEVER taken an animal to the vet!

just be a resposable owner and get him to the vets and find out what's causing the problem.
