i think as a christian that we are to love the sinner but hate the sin - and that means exposing false teachings too i agree
too much store is put onto 'tolerance' (heck is that a NEW religion or something?)
even the meaning of that word is changing
it used to mean that 'it isn't me but i will put up with it anyways'
it now seems to mean 'we HAVE to embrace it otherwise the politically correct brigade will be down on our backs'
and if anyone is offended by this - then please TOLERATE the fact that i think differently than you and i personally don't embrace the PC 'tolerance' creed that seems to pervade our society
i am in favour of justice (with a shake of mercy) rather than tolerance
that means if i think something is WRONG then it ought to be pointed out and corrected - not ignored and covered up to ensnare future persons passing by

All religions are False.
Religions cannot Recreate your Spirit.
There are only Two Kinds of People on the Earth at this Time:
1.People who have been Born-Again (Spirits Recreated by Jesus)
2.People who have not been Saved (Born-Again by Jesus)
It takes GOD Almighty to Push Back the Darkness in the UnBelievers Minds to give them a Chance to say YES to Jesus (like GOD did me and I said YES)
OtherWise, unless you go Breaking Laws and Killing, Stealing and Destroying---you can Believe What you Want To and not get into Trouble.

How do you know that other religions are false and tha Christianity is not?
There are other religions that are 100% sure, like you, that their religion is true and all others are false.
You do realize that had you been born in another part of the world you would think thay Christianity is false. For exmaple, if you were born and raised in India, you would think that Hinuism is the one true religion. If you were born in Iran you would think that Islam is the one true religion, Japan-Shinto, Israel- Judaism, Ireland-Catholic (which by the way IS Christianity)....need I go on?
People can sit there and ramble off passages from the Bible as proof that Christianity is the one true religion...but keep in mind, a Muslim could do the same thing with the Quran.
People can thumbs down me all they want, but they know I speak with logic and truth.
Now I know you are just looking for validation and thus I will not win best answer, but those are my two cents.

Yes, I agree with with you but tolerance does not mean using lies and black propaganda against our fellow Christians. And insisting what we believe in is the absolute truth and everyone else is wrong. That would be fundamentalism and bigotry.
Fundamentalism is defined as “the practice of asserting the absolute truth of your own beliefs and practices to the deliberate exclusion of the possibility of truth in the beliefs and practices of others.” It is nothing but bigotry and religious intolerance.
These fundamentalists have this "holier than thou" attitude, which gets in your nerves. They always presume to know more about your religion and what is good for you.
Are they our modern day Pharisees?
How can I bring myself to love them? They resort to black propaganda and lies. Some examples of their propaganda.
+ The Pope is the Anti-Christ (they have been saying this since Martin Luther made the accusation).
+ The Church is the Whore of Babylon in the book of Revelation
+ The Church is the Mother of all harlots.
+ The Church started Islam
And to add insult to injury they justify these allegations by saying “we don't want you to go to hell,” which is ridiculous as far as I am concerned. Do they really expect us to fall for that line?
To my fundamentalist brothers & sisters: “Judge not that you be not judged for the measure with which you measure will be measured out to you.” – Jesus Christ.
Eartha and other Fundamentalists: How sure are you that your "truth" is the absolute truth?

Tolerance is another way of saying you don't stand for anything you regard as right or wrong, unless it involves pop culture ideals. By today's standards, because of humanistic philosophy and moral relativism, it is "incorrect" to say anything is wrong, with the exception of christian faith. People will dissect anyone who dares to believe and live for God through Christ.
The liberal agendas goal is to blurr the lines of right and wrong, and to accomplish this they have adopted a tactic of "verbal terrorism". If you disagree with them, you are labeled "intolerant" and accused of "hate".
It works only if you let it.
Stand firm for what is right.

We are living in a time when you can believe anything, as long as you do not claim it to be true. In the name of "tolerance," our postmodern culture embraces everything from Eastern mysticism to New Age spirituality. But as Ravi Zacharias points out, such unquestioning acceptance of all things spiritual is absurd. All religions, plainly and simply, cannot be true.

Well, what's to say that Christianity isn't false? Now, I'm not saying it is--I'm a Chrisitian myself. But I agree. There's a difference between 'tolerance', and being a priggish retard. Tolerance is saying, 'They may be right, and they may be wrong. I won't say anything.'
Being a priggish retard means 'They're wrong, and I'm right, but I'll not say anything to be polite'.
Some would argue that they're one in the same. I won't go there. In the end, you have to decide this for yourself.

We already know who and what they are...so do they...they know who and what we are...so do we....now, if both of us know who each other is already, then what is the point of provoking one another to do anything but something good? what? '"let us do evil that good may come?" or," those who are led of the Spirit, they are the sons of God.." If you love your brethern only, what reward have you?" So, is the way that is not accepted..of God, or not?' you be the judge... ")

there's the classic definition of "tolerant" (check any good dictionary) and there's the modern redefinition which assumes are beliefs are equally valid or equally true, which is flat out nonsense. people who say all religions are the same haven't studied any of them.

Have you ever read the Gospel of John?
When Jesus encounter non belief, he simply walked on.
If Jesus can walk, I will definitely run after him.
