Doesn't that mean that nobody's going to hell?

I'm not really religious but I used to be scared sh*tless about that [being a sinner or sinning] so much so that when I was small I really wanted to be a priest or a nun to componsate. Isn't religion too restrictive?

Like do you really think that if we don't obbey the bibble (although not out of rebellion) that we all go to hell?

Because say I want to try stuff, I'm afraid I'll go to hell even if I mean good from it. Is there a hell?

People will go to either Heaven or Hell.

In order to go to Heaven, you will have to obey the Gospel of Christ. You have to hear and believe in the Gospel of Christ. You will have to confess that Christ is the Son of God before men, and be baptized in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Faith must always precede baptism.

As Christians, we are called to go out into the world to preach the Gospel of Christ. While we are here on earth, we are to do the will of the Father.

Also, the so-called Sinner's Prayer isn't Biblical. It just isn't in the Bible.

The only way to heaven is to accept Jesus Christ as your Savior. The way to hell is to reject Jesus Christ.

We come to Jesus just as we are and He gives us the Holy Spirit who purifies and refines us. The Holy Spirit convicts us of our sins and cleanses us daily.

The reason Jesus died on that cross was because we couldn't obey the Bible's Ten Commandments. The Ten Commandments prove to us that we need a Savior, because we are sinners.

Trust the Lord that what He begins in us by giving us the Holy Spirit that the Holy Spirit is more than able to finish in us and have us ready to meet the Lord.

The only thing that you have to do is accept Jesus as your Savior and believe in Him and what He did.

no people will still go to hell unless they do this and mean it.......well if you choose to be good and decide that you don't to do bad things anymore than just talk to god and tell him that you admit your a sinner and that your not perfect and confess your sins(all the things you did wrong) to god and if you believe that jesus died for our sins, that he raised the dead three days later after death, believe that he died on the cross for our sins and just ask god to come in your heart and to forgive you.you must repent meaning ask for forgiveness when you do wrong....and he will forgive you but if you don't ask him then he won't forgive u.

Let me answer your questions line by line.
1. Jesus did die for our sins. But, because we have free-will
we have to make a 'choice'. We have to 'choose' to believe in Jesus, ask Him to be our Savior and Lord, and accept His gift of grace and eternal life, OR we 'choose' not to follow Him. The ones who choose not to follow, will live throughout eternity separated from God.

2. Yes, some religions are too restrictive - but that's because
there ae too many man-made laws. Man-made laws are
not God's laws!! God tells us His yoke is light. In other
words, it's not hard to follow Him. He says, "believe in me"
'Love as I have loved you (which he gave his life for you),
and He says, "Come, let us reason together." So God is
saying that he will listen to you and he would like for you
to listen to Him.

3. First of all, you and I don't undestand everything in the
Bible, but it's not what I don't understand that bothers
me, it's what I do understand. What I do understand
I will be held accountable for. God does not hold us
accountable for what we do not understand. No, you
will not go to hell for not obeying something in the Bible.
If you have accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior,
you are saved. Nothing can take you from the hand of
God. No you will not go to hell.
4. Your last statement is confusing. You say you want to 'try stuff'...and in the same breath, you speak of your 'fear of hell' if you do!!! You try to calm it down by sayng 'even if I mean good from it'.... I wonder what you could be talking about? What could be 'good' if it is so bad??? I think you know the answer to your own question.

5. Is there a hell? Yes, dear one, it's total separation from God. You can't get into a worse place.

I wish you insight into your questions and pray your search brings you peace.

There is a hell. We are still on our way to Hell because we aren't forgiven of our sins unless we want to be. Then we have to ask Him into our heart to take away our sins. He already paid the price, and will take away your sins, but you have to accept His free gift and ask Him into your heart. It's that simple yet so many people don't do it. You can be on your way to Heaven if you accept His gift. He paid the price. All we have to do is take it.
It's not if you don't obey the Bible. Only if you don't accept Christ as saviour.

Dear Friend, God loves us so much he wants to live with us forever in His kingdom. I understand the fear of sinning, I have struggled with sin for so long, not getting past it no matter how hard I tried. I was afraid God was going to kill me.
But Jesus died for my sins, and took my punishment upon himself - He died with two others (thieves) one repented, the other mocked Jesus - representing us. We either Choose to believe Jesus and live in paradise, or not. I broke free from sins by believing the Bible above any preacher, any church, anything anybody ever told me, and went to the Source, Jesus Christ. I 've held onto His words and am an example that Jesus can set us free from our sins, and help overcome our desire to sins by "hiding the Word of God in my heart." Jesus combated Satan in this way when He was tempted, each time responding with the Truth of God's Word.
Don't misunderstand me, pastors preachers, and christian brothers and sisters are awesome, but can only help you if they have stuck all their chips on Jesus, and not on their own desires and wants. It says ,"Let God be true, and every person a liar."

The first thing that someone should be considering is whether the idea of sin is actually real.

If God is supposed to be perfect how could She have made anything or anyone that wasn't perfect.
Think about it. The idea of sin assumes certain things about God that seem highly unlikely.

First it assumes a God who is too incompetent to organize a simple educational field excursion and figure out a way to get all of the students home safely.

How likely is this that God would not be smart enough to come up with a plan for our salvation that is going to work 100 percent of the time?

It also assumes that God must have created us imperfect if we are sinners.

One might assume that God would be able to create someone perfect each and every time if he chose to. Assuming God is capable of this, then it follows logically that we must be perfect creations if we are actually creations of this perfect God.

Unless of course you are saying that God chose to create us imperfect.

If God created us imperfect then anything that may go wrong is Gods fault, not ours. This seems a bit illogical at best so I think that we need to assume that What God creates would have to be perfect.

If this is the case and Gods creations are perfect, then nothing that we can do could change what God created perfect and make it imperfect unless we think that we are more powerful than God is.

How likely is it that we the creation could be more powerful than the creator. I personally find this idea somewhat amusing, and a bit absurd.

Religion tells us that God is perfect. If this is true then it could hardly be logically for Gods creations to be considered to be anything less than perfect.

If this is the case and we are perfect creations of a perfect God then Nothing that we can ever do could possibly change this perfection that God willed, unless we were so powerful that our choices could override and change the will of God.

How likely is that????

Think about it.

Hello there,

Jesus died to pave the way for you to have a relationship with God. He did 2 things on the cross:

1) He took your sins away from you, and put them in himself. That way, when God punished Jesus on the cross, he was punishing Jesus for your sins. ALL of your sins and mine. That means that God has no more punishment left for you because ALL of your sins were already punished in Jesus!

2) He gave you his righteousness before God. That way, when God looks at you, he sees the righteousness of Christ. Instead of seeing you as a sinner, God sees you as a beloved child because of what Jesus did.

If you believe that Jesus was who he said he was, and you trust him with your life, you are a member of God's family. Since you are a member of his family it is good for you to read the bible and learn what God expects of you and to try to live the most blameless life possible. But you know that even if you fail, you are forgiven because of Jesus.

I hope that helps you, I really do.

Please feel free to email me I would love to talk with you more about this!

The Kingdom of God is a family not a religion.God knows we are not perfect thus Jesus was sent to die for our sins.Whom ever shall believe in him shall not perish but have everlasting life.Jesus was NOT sent to condemn the world but to save it.We are told not to do things for our own good,if you make a mistake dust yourself off and get back up.Walk in the strength of the Lord.God speed.

Jesus did die for everyone's sin. But, to be saved from Hell, you must have faith that He will save you from your sin.

Obeying the Bible will come to those easier from their faith in God. Otherwise, yes, they will go to Hell. It is a real place, I don't plan on visiting!

I pray God will open your eyes and give you His Holy Spirit.
