There were a lot of books taken out. There was the book of Thomas, the book of Mary Magdalene, and there were many more too, but I cannot remember them all. The reason that these books were not allowed in the bible is because Jesus seemed more like a mystic in these books and also in these books Jesus was kissing mary magdalene, and that would have been scandalous to have a book in the bible were Jesus was kissing a woman. Don't understand why though, kissing is not a sin. Loving a woman is not a sin.

No section of the Bible was taken out.
A bunch of scholars got together and reviewed descriptions of Christ's life and teachings. They choose the books that best represented Christ teachings and put them together in a single volume called the Bible.
Not everyone agreed with these choices so the most popular books NOT in the Bible were assembled into a group called the Apocrypha and many priests put these books into their copy of the Bible when they hand copied it during their training.
The Apocrypha was translated into the original KJV and then removed because it was not in the original volumes cannonized as the Bible.
A bunch of books that were popular, kind of like the National Enquirer is popular, stayed around but no serious scholars paid much attention to them.
These "Forbidden Gospels" have been continuously published over the years, kind of like stories about pyramids and the devils triangle are published. You can download them at Gutenberg.org.
PS: The "Forbidden Gospel" books were not burned, there were few copies because people had more important things to do besides hand copy the National Enquirer. Scholars did keep copies around for historical reasons for much the same reasons that Libraries keep dime trash novels around.

The New Testament of the Bible was not put together by the Church until the 4th cent AD and there were many Gnostic and other documents claiming to be "Gospel Truth" that were circulating but the religions that they preached were not the Apostolic Christian Faith but profoundly different religions with"Jesus language'. These texts never made it into the Bible and rightly so.
Christians-Catholic ,Orthodox and orthodox Protestants-all accept theNew Testament canon of the Patristic Era united Catholic/Orthodox /ApostolicChurch, I can't figure out why all Christians do not accept the LXX Catholic canon when they accept the authority of the Church to discern the New testament canon of Scriptural books.
You might be thinking of the apocryphal book that depicted the Child Jesus as a miracle working nasty brat.

I think you are refering to the gnostics, which claim that Jesus did a lot of things not found in the standard Bible as we know it (for example, the gnostics claim that he married Mary Magdalene).
However, it is important to know that the reason those 'gospels' are not included in our real Bible is because they do not synchronize with the other legitimate books and God's word is harmonious. That's part of what makes the Bible special to begin with.
Hope that helps.

A lot of books were removed (20+), it's how they created this religion based on fear and intimidation.
What better way to distort a religion then remove any books that may contradict the image Christianity wants to impose.

Every book in the bible was inspired by God and if it is not there it is false and probably written by the gnostics.

I think not,you are wrong, the Bible told of Jesus and his
work in everything he did,and saying thing,s about him does not deminish who he was,the Son of God.
