I'm in college but is there anything I could do? I don't have a job myself and my mom doesn't work either. I don't know how financially stable we are and if my family would have to move or not. Should I worry?

saki, has your dad got any training in any professional field? it would help if he did.

he can probably get another job looking around, even mowing lawns or helping w/some errands w/some elderly folks. & in the meantime, take a few courses or go to a tech.school & get a trade or deegree. everyone can do it.

in the meanwhile, if you can , ,get a job & help out.
try to get on a budget, & pray like crazy.

pray like it's all up to God
& work like it's all up to you.

good luck & God bless.

Yes, you should worry and help. Try to get a part time job to help with the bills at least. Do a Yard/ Garage Sale, to get some money in the mean time.

Getting laid off is hard on a family, I know, I've been through it. Just ask your parents if things are ok and is there anything you could do to help. They might be glad you ask, it could be hard for them to tell you if they are struggling. Hope things work out for your family.

It happens to the best of us. Just tell your dad that you care and will always be there for him and you are proud that he is your dad. That would help him get back on his feet and look or a job.

The only way you know is if you ask!
I am sure they would appreciate your helping work and helping out with your own expenses at this time.
