Does anyone have any recommendations for resources regarding securing financing for law school? Financial aid, private grants, aid, etc.....

I have looked at reference books and websites, but they are difficult to navigate and hard to narrow down for what would be a good match for me.

Thanks!

There are targeted grants out there for law school, and there are a few limited scholarships out there. The federal work study program still exists at the law school level. There are student loans. However, unless you are in public interest law, there is not much in help because they are trying to lure individuals into the field. According to the LSAC website, 80% of law school students finance using student loans. I will include some free resources to locate college tuition money. Good luck!

regulation college isn't the direction you may take. you've a great volume of debt (nicely over $a hundred,000) and the criminal activity industry is poor, until eventually you come from a appropriate college (which you will not get into consisting of your GPA, sorry only being undemanding). I graduated from an particularly good, yet not great, regulation college 2 years in the past and function acquaintances that graduated with honors that are literally working at eating places and bars with 100K in debt because of the fact there are only NO jobs for brand spanking new attorneys good now. additionally no economic help attainable for regulation college no rely how undesirable you're. You the two pay out of pocket, with scholarships, or by way of loans. So sure there are hassle-free regulation faculties to get into (Cooley for one) yet i would not propose going to any of them.
