They don't - it's just the common stereotype that they do, so brunettes hang back a bit more and the blondes get more attention because guys think that they're supposed to look at the blondes more.
Be bold! Be fun! Be loud! A smart, fun brunette in a sea of blondes will definitely get more attention. :)

It`s not that blondes have more attention,it is who you are and how you feel about your self, and how comfortable with the environment you are.
I have just started clubbing again and i`m blond, when i first went out i was shy and nearly all of my friends are brunette and they were having so much more attention than me.But when i started to be a bit more relaxed and making myself seen, like what they do i soon got the same attention. It sounds odd but as much as it is flattering i don`t really want the attention, because there is always some one looking at the person giving you the attention and then they start giving you bad attention,so if i was you i would stay as you are and i bet mister right will find you.
Hope that rambling made sense,i have just come in from my birthday meal and drinks
I`m sorry this is to the avatar with no name, you think blondes don`t think,or all men think that, i`m blond and i can assure you when they talk to me they will be thinking the opposite to that, they`ll be thinking i think too much and know too many lame tactics to chat me up....

Not being big headed but i am brunette and I get alot of attention because of my personality and im bubbly, I dont believe blondes are all that fun because i find them boring as my frend is now bleach blonde and i found it hard for her to start a conversation. I am chatty and have big blue eyes and i dont think because a blonde has blu eyes and big boobs its a sign for attention because she could have a rubbish personality. Brunettes are much more attractive in my opinion. The morals of people are wrong, each person should have a chance for any sort f attention. If your shine you shine. Its nothing to do with looks in my mind its about holding yourself right and having confidence and your own mind. I dont like ppl who copy other people with the same opinions and answers, each to their own thats what i say. Red heads are far more attractive than blondes, my mum was a red head when she was young and she she has big brown eyes and she gets alot of attention and has a great personality and always makes ppl laugh!!

I think it's because men believe women with blonde hair are a bit dumb and not many men want 2 go out with a woman whose more intelligent than themselves. Go blonde if just for a laugh but be true 2 ur roots. Maybe just a few subtle higlights to start with until u feel confident enough to go all the way. I know alot of men who prefer brunettes to blondes you know, maybe u just need to give some very clear signals to show ur interested!

i think blonds get more attention because their hair colour is bright and attracts attention while brunnettes have dark hair which dont stand out that much cos its not so bright. i think blond hair will be good on you. you can find a picture which has the same complexion as your skin and copy the hair colour.

Bleaching your hair to blond dries it out so it is ok to just try but not good to do to your hair for a long time.
The way to answer your question is to try it yourself. You don't have to, but the experience will tell you a lot more than any ones answer and if you don't like it, it can be recoloured.

A psychologist friend once told me that blonde hair looks cleaner, on a sub-conscious level. It is pure animal instinct that leads partners to blondes.
The fortunate thing is we humans have developed our perceptive skills so that the initial visual attraction is soon tempered or overruled.
There is nothing wrong with dyeing your hair, but don't do it just to seek attention. Potential partners will soon see if their is anything of substance to you, blonde or otherwise

Not from me, I have never dated a blonde woman in my life. Brunettes for me and the odd red head for an added bit of spice!

It's all about reputation. Don't try to change yourself because you think it will make you more attractive or better looking. You're beautiful the way you are and the right one will know this too.
