Dale's cars haven't been very good the last few years. His move will provide him with both next season. I think it is a great move for him and HMS. With a good car under him, he will have pressure to prove he is the driver everyone wants him to be.

Jeff Gordon? I never quite figured out what the question was but for two points I will throw out an answer anyway!
Jeff Gordon... what a charge to the front for the win. Both times this year he has made a statement in how he drove to victory. Jeff Gordon is a legend!
And why didn't people cover the track in beer cans after Gordon won? Maybe it was because most Jr. fans had left after their star failed to finish another race this year.... and perhaps it was also because the fact that Jeff Gordon proved once again that he is one amazing driver and to boo him this time would leave people thinking that the Red Nation were just a bunch of idiots. You don't need to like a driver to respect their ability and show respect where respect is due.

Im a jr fan, and I like jeff gordon...i think the idiots that throw stuff at gordon are not real race fans...they are just bandwagon "jr fans". These ppl irritate me, they get interested in Nascar and they immediately want to go for the most popular, and when they find out he is having some trouble this year, they stop going for him...does anybody else notice this?...sorry anyways...i was at the race and there were some instances where i saw ppl throw stuff at him..good news though, they got arrested. One of the real reasons that ppl stopped throwing things on the track is because before the race they said if you are caught throwing things on the track, you will be arrested.

I was watching Wind Tunnel last night on Speed, and Jeff Gordon was their guest, and they asked that very same question, and he said that even though Jr. is going to be apart of Hendrick Motorsports, and even though Jeff Gordon owns equity in the #48 and in the whole entire Hendrick Motorsports organization that he doesnt think the fans will change their opinion of him. He said that they are always going to have the same opinion of him, and while more fans may have more respect for him due to Jr. and them being teammates, that he doesnt believe that the opinions of the Jr. fans will change, and they will still dislike him.

I hope that the reason was because Jr. is coming to Hendricks next year. But having been to Talladega myself several times before this is what I have observed several times. When Jr drops out most of his fans head to the exits to get a head start on the barbeque. And considering Truex blew up--Menard wrecked then-Jr blew up they exited and headed to the party and to cry in their beer. Ive seen this happen over and over with Jr fans and Sr. fans as well no matter who wins the race. I guess most of the Alabama fans just come to Talladega to see the Earnhardts and not to watch a whole race Nothing against Earnhardt fans as the same thing used to happen when Neil Bonnett and Bobby and Davey Allison and the rest of the Alabama Gang was running Nascar.. I have seen it over and over and over again so let the bad ratings Marks begin--The Truth hurts sometimes and to some fans ALL the time

This is true. By the way was that another Brilliant Finish at Talle' by Gordon or what. BAck to the Q'. They are hoping that next year Gordon will help Jr. get some wins. So they are kissing A** C'mon Jr. doesn't win anything. FYI to Jr. Fans. If Gordon has a chance to win he will pass Jr. Did you see what he did to Johnson. The very team that Gordon is owner of & the very Guy that Gordon brought into NASCAR. Gordon is a Winner

the terrific recent ever. I only back from trip and the race replace into the 1st element I watched when I have been given living house. With Gordon being my fashionable motive force it replace into the terrific recent ever for me thinking it replace into driving me insane no longer with the flexibility to computer screen the race at Martinsville and the initiating of Texas. Congrats Jeff. To undesirable that his spouse and daughter could desire to no longer be with him in Victory Lane although. that's is the 1st of many wins for Jeff Gordon and a championship rivalry as quickly as greater!!

There were a few things thrown, but not near as much. That is probably the reason. I don't think Jr will do much better. Gordon will always be the dominate driver there. JR is going to be the third, possibly the Fourth wheel for the team. Yes, Hendricks wants him to win, but push comes to shove and you will see JR be put in his place.

It was probably because the Jr fans left after he lost his engine. That's not me, that's another quote from Jeff Gordon on "Wind Tunnel."
