Of course it is! Nothing relaxes me more than a drink at the end of a stressful day.
Drinking too much with the wrong crowd of people is why it might not be relaxing for some people. It causes people to lose their inhibitions and they do whatever feels right at the moment. Whether it's making a fool of themselves, or opening up. Alcohol is a very powerful tool, and used correctly is a beautiful thing.. sort of like marijuana.

It certainly can be now and then. But it can also turn into a major dependency, ruin your life, and even kill you if it gets out of hand. It can turn into a disease if you go overboard with it and then the relaxing buzz isn't so relaxing. Sometimes a person can drink so much he no longer gets high and his poor body can't clear the stuff out by the next morning, and he gets sort of trapped in an in-between world of headache, hangover, body saturated with alcohol and a major depression as his daily outlook, so these cautions always come along with the relaxing buzz idea. Recreational use of alcohol is always dangerous territory... and we are always the last to learn about it.

NO! Alcohol is a depressant, what intially is a "buzz" will rapidly turn into something else. While you may think you are relaxed in truth it is anything but, sleep is erratic and not restful, you wake up with hangovers, or not feeling rested at all. Then of course there is the dehydration, upset stomach or throwing up, loss of inhibitions.........and the list goes on.

Alcohol is all about moderation and not drinking excessively, because you can become to relaxed and not be aware of what is going on around you, and if you get to drunk you run the risk of alcoholic poisoning, choking on your own vomit, you must know your own limit be sensible.

Does the trick for me! May not be the best solution but what the heck. I work with what I've got! Sometimes we all just need to get a little drunk and say "what the heck".

Depends, it it technically a depressant, which is why it can make you tired (and eventually knock you out). But in my opinion the perfect relaxation is shisha (or hookah), specifically mint or apple sisha. go to a hookah bar.
