no audio output device is installed?

this is what my little sound icon says, but I had perfect sound earlier today....I just got back on the computer, and no sound, why is that...I even tryed taking out my earphones, and nothing, the light on my speakers is on, but not a trace of a sound, HELP

some how you lost the drivers to your audio device.

just re-install the drivers for that device and you should be good.

don't forget to take out what ever is currently there if there is any.
