I posted an ad online and a few guys sent me messages. I responded and they gave me thier telephone numbers. I called both of them yesterday and left a message. How long should I wait on a returned call before I give up on them and assume they are not interested?

What made you respond to these guys? Was one of the reasons the fact that each had a job or was otherwise occupied? The reason these questions become important is that it might explain the reason you have not heard back from either one.Also, if you call at 7 p.m., and it is now 7p.m. of the following day (about 12 hours) would you think it was taking too long? My point is before you write off either one of these guys, try to see if you can reach them again a couple of times to allow for legitimate reasons why one might not return a call----think work overtime, you called the wrong number, family emergency,to mention a few.So give them as much time as you would expect from a guy who calls you under similar circumstances; that is, if the shoe was on the other foot. I hope that your ad does lead to a great romance. If it does, don't forget to send me a wedding invitation.

They may just be busy these few days. It's really up to you. You are single, enjoy it! If you call and leave a message, and they don't call back, don't call them again. They were just, as they say, one of the many "fish in the sea".

You should give up right now and that way if you get a return call it will be more of a surprise.

give them about 3 days after that forget it. but if they respond adter that is up to you if you want to give them a chance.

days is the max, they're not calling you the next day, no one want to seam desperate
