It has done this before. She is very swollen. She appears to be in no pain, happy and running around and playing. she cannot get pregnant because she was spaded several years ago. she is 12 years old. Could it be that the dog food I am feeding her has swelled up in her stomach? I dont know what to think. Any advice would be appreciated.

Did you see her eat anything unusual?
If I were you, I would call the vet and ask what the swelling is.

If this was happening to you, would you eventually consider seeing a doctor? The same thing has to happen when you have pets. An animal doctor!
