Hey Im taking up photography as a hobbie for now hopefully a career, and i cant think of the name that photographers use at a studio, like its something like white background drop, sometimes it neon green so you can add special effects afterwards with photoshop. but i just want to find the drop material, cuz i can build my own lil iron holder lol

You can buy a king size white sheet - linen.
I used to take pics of people at a pond so the background would be a blurry green. I took a shot of the area with no one in it and I went to a big posters place and had them print it out real big. I used this indoors and it looks like they're outside.

The paper version is fairly economical and is called seamless. Typically, it comes in large rolls. I know some photographers use velvet as well, since the texture absorbs light, making for a highly uniform backdrop. Your local specialty store should sell the seamless in at least black or white. If not, B&H is great for stuff like this.
