Is this because of Global Warming?

It's very clear we are experiencing global climate change to me.

Some people are still very much in denial about it though. Maybe they are too young to realize how this is way out of the range of normal weather for October. Not to mention that the glaciers are melting all over the world.

No, this is not because of global warming. The Southern Hemisphere just experienced a brutal record setting winter. The reason the continental US is not experiencing an early winter is anybodies guess, I would say it is probably associated with the La-Nina phenomena and the Pacific Decadal Oscillation and it's heat transfer mechanism that has warmed the north pole. Winter will more than likely start late this year, but will probably more than make up for the warm weather we are experiencing, if I were you I would enjoy the warm weather, it will not last much longer.

Yes. Supposedly these high temperatures are the beginning symptoms of Global Warming. Scientists can only estimate, at this time, how much worse thinngs will get, and they can only estimate how much of an effect our efforts to slow, stop or reverse these symptoms will have.

it sure is, K Fed!

And to the guy who said "what's the big deal about Global Warming:

The number of major natural disasters has tripled since the 1960s...look at Katrina. As for the farmer he cited, Global Warming will have a NEGATIVE effect on agriculture:

Not to mention the effects on oceans and ecosystems that affect us ALL, whether your Democrat, Conservative, or smart. =D

Global Warming, Climate Change... Whatever you wanna call it (although if you doubt global warming, then your pretty convenient about your facts)... point is, it's happening.

Learn to expect hot, when it should be cold... cool when it should be warm. Dry when it should be wet, moist when it should be arid... and thats the least of it unfortunately for us.

The term Global Warming is nothing more than a term used by those to promote a liberal, democratic agenda. All one has to do to contradict all the "science" regarding this supposed man-caused calamity is to answer this simple question:

"What caused the planet to warm up during the last ice age given the fact that man wasn't even around to cause it to warm up; as is alleged by some he is doing now to cause the planet to heat up a little?"

Answer: There were a group of dinosaurs called atheistapod demoracticus that spewed out all this hot air as is happening now in Washinton D.C.

If anything is warming up the planet it is the cosmos....not man.

Its so fun to see how many people are falling into this media-driven "global warming" mania. I don't need to brag about my academic career, but lets just say that there is honestly nothing that we are doing (as humans) to increase or decrease the natural heating and cooling processes of the earth. Personally, yes I think I can say I've noticed it is on average warmer than a few years back, but the earth works in cycles. 50 years from now, the news is going to be complaining that the summer is not going to be as hot as it used to be back in the 2000s LOL.

It sure is.

I still don't understand how people are so blinded by the truth that global warming is real.
