I just had a baby about 2months ago and I would like to lose about 30pounds any tips? Does walking help at all? I know im not in the best health please help...the results read: Patients gallbladder shows what appear to be numerous calcifications and a moderately contracted gallbladder. The common bile duct is not distended and measures no more than 0.4cm in width.

The included portions of the liver and rights are unremarkable and there is no abnormality of included portions of aorta and inferior vena cava.

Conclusions:

1. Multiple cholelithiasis with an apparently contracted gallbladder

recommended.

High triglycerides means you are eating too many refined carbohydrates or sugar. Cut back on the refined foods.

There are tube like structures that start in the liver, known as
ducts. The bile that the liver makes flows through these ducts.
It may go to the gallbladder to be stored. While in the
gallbladder, it becomes concentrated in form. When we
eat fats, the gallbladder "contracts" and this pushes the
bile out into the tubes again and it flows down to the
intestines to help in the digestion of these fats we eat. It breaks these fats down. From what you have posted here...you have gallstones (cholelithiasis). Here is a link to help you understand better. http://digestive.niddk.nih.gov/ddiseases/pubs/gallstones/
Apparently they have not moved from the gallbladder out
into the ducts because there is no evidence here that
the ducts or the liver has been affected by this.
The HIDA is a scan to see these gallstones, it is a
gallbladder test. Here is a link to explain about that:

The Aorta and vena cava are the main blood vessels that
lead to the heart...they appear to look fine.

There are two types of fats in the body...cholesterol and
triglycerides. When our cells die, the cholesterol is
used to make the membrances of the new cells.
An over abundance of cholesterol and triglyerides is not
good. Triglycerides are used basically for energy purposes,
they can also be stored in the body. All your tests are
too high. The LDL cholesterol reading is bad cause it takes
the fats and can store them in the blood vessel and build
up causing a problem with your blood flowing well. The HDL is the good cholesterol reading as it scoops up the cholesterol and takes it to the liver for processing.

Changing your diet so you eat fruits, vegetables, and
low fat meats like chicken with the skin off, fish, turkey,
and very lean cuts of beef should help. Avoid alot of
milk products. Walking is excellant to do. The doctor
may provide you with more than what is said above and
might refer you to a nutritionist to help you. In some
people cholesterol problems are inherited. The doctor
may try you on a diet first to lower them and then decide
if you need medication to do so. If he puts you on
a low cholesterol diet....make sure to drink fluids, not
an overabundance of it, just enough so your kidneys will
flush it out of your system.

I hope this information is of some help to you.

your results arent good but they can be fixed. you ate alot of junk when you were pregnant didnt you? your cholesterol and triglycerides should both be under 150. your ldl is ok. i dont know what vldl is. I suggest start drinking lots of water no alcohol, sodas, milk, or any drinks with sugar in it, also no diet sodas thier just as bad as regular. start off with walking go slow. and increase it a little everyday. this will get alot of flab off you and get your levels where they should be in about 1-2 months. and eat 5-6 small meals every day about every 3 hours this will speed up your metabolism. eat good food stay away from junk. good luck

A lot of this is out of my league too. Ask the doctor. Nag if you have to, until you understand what's going on. This I can tell you: You need to lower your triglycerides. You'll want to cut out excess fat, fried foods, and most processed sugars such as what you see in Twinkies and other snack cakes.

The good news is that walking will help. Even if you don't lose weight quickly, you will tone up and feel better.

Good luck!

Tigger speaks the truth but forget about walking. You need to get your heart rate up 4 times a week for 30 - 40 minutes. Treadmill running (set it at 5.5 mph) or bike it hard.
