My old computer had Windows XP and Microsoft Works which I used almost everyday. But I just got a new computer with Windows Vista and I can't seem to find Microsoft Works.

Does anyone know if there's another program on here which will allow me to write letters, print shipping labels and print business & postcards?

I'm looking, but I don't see anything.

Suggestions would be great too!

Thanks.

Microsoft Works is a standard with most new computers but it is normally a 6 month test version only.

If you want Microsofts full program look at some Computer Stores for the 'Student Edition' which is less expensive. I don't think it has M$ Publisher though which I think you are referring to.

Microsoft Office 2003 works great on my Vista Machine and you can probably get it cheaply as Office 2007 is out now. It is complete with Word, Excel, Publisher and more.

Work checking out though.

If it's an HP you have Works with Vista. Word is just a trial...60 days or 20 uses.

Works is a separate program, normally free with new computers, but not always
