where can i get funding for a foundation?

I dream to create a foundation that would give unconditional shelter at night to those people who needs it. Unconditional meaning, they are not obligated to attend any lectures or any thing they don't want. if possible dinner included.

Does anyone know how I can get started?

It sounds like a nice goal.

You probably want to start by coming up with a name and a plan, and incorporating your foundation as a 501(C)3 for tax purposes.

Then you can get grants from the government and other foundations, and anyone who raises funds or donates to your organization gets a tax deduction.
