I bought a set of oil pastels today and I am looking for a good website with some techniques and how to use them. If anyone knows of a free site that is good and could assist me (pictures really help, i tend to be kinda duh) I would really appreciate it. Thanks

I don't know how good those are because I don't know exactly what you're looking for, but good luck.

Just use your finger to blend. They sell blending stick for this purpose. Also, you can use different textured paper for cool effects.
You don't need to be "taught". Make it your own. Someone once asked me if they could use sea shells in their paint - I was like "no ****." YOU can do anything - that's why it's ART.
