You have to take this in context. Here it is:
Acts 10:11-15 (New International Version)
New International Version (NIV)
Copyright © 1973, 1978, 1984 by International Bible Society
11He saw heaven opened and something like a large sheet being let down to earth by its four corners. 12It contained all kinds of four-footed animals, as well as reptiles of the earth and birds of the air. 13Then a voice told him, "Get up, Peter. Kill and eat."
14"Surely not, Lord!" Peter replied. "I have never eaten anything impure or unclean."
15The voice spoke to him a second time, "Do not call anything impure that God has made clean."
This is refering to the fact the God revealed to Peter, that the Jews wer not to be the only ones that God had chosen to be His followers, but that the message of the Gospel, would now be carried to the Gentiles as well. This was, (if I'm not mistaken), just before Peter went to the house of the gentile Cornelius.
God had declared any gentile that believed in Him clean as well.

D and it was animals that were NOT allowed to the Jews. God told him to eat, and Peter said, no. God repeated it twice. God was making a point about clean and unclean animals to teach him that it was OK to share the Gospel with the non-Jews/Gentiles. That anything God created was NOT unclean, the barrier had been lifted.
9About noon the following day as they were on their journey and approaching the city, Peter went up on the roof to pray. 10He became hungry and wanted something to eat, and while the meal was being prepared, he fell into a trance.
16This happened three times, and immediately the sheet was taken back to heaven.
17While Peter was wondering about the meaning of the vision, the men sent by Cornelius found out where Simon's house was and stopped at the gate. 18They called out, asking if Simon who was known as Peter was staying there.
19While Peter was still thinking about the vision, the Spirit said to him, "Simon, three[a] men are looking for you. 20So get up and go downstairs. Do not hesitate to go with them, for I have sent them."
21Peter went down and said to the men, "I'm the one you're looking for. Why have you come?"
22The men replied, "We have come from Cornelius the centurion. He is a righteous and God-fearing man, who is respected by all the Jewish people. A holy angel told him to have you come to his house so that he could hear what you have to say." 23Then Peter invited the men into the house to be his guests.
EDIT: it WAS Cornelius's house where he went next. The above answer is correct, as well, however unsure it was.

D 12 and in it there were all sorts of four-footed creatures and creeping things of the earth and birds of heaven. 13 And a voice came to him: “Rise, Peter, slaughter and eat!” 14 But Peter said: “Not at all, Lord, because never have I eaten anything defiled and unclean.” 15 And the voice [spoke] again to him, the second time: “You stop calling defiled the things God has cleansed.” 16 This occurred a third time, and immediately the vessel was taken up into heaven.

F. None of the above
His vision was that what God had cleansed was no longer unclean.....
28 And he said unto them, Ye know how that it is an unlawful thing for a man that is a Jew to keep company, or come unto one of another nation; but God hath shewed me that I should not call any man common or unclean.

exciting question. i think of there are 2 techniques of drawing near this question: before everything, we are following the very occasion of Jesus by employing no longer disallowing every physique - regardless of their sinfulness - to come again and worship with us. Jesus did no longer, in any way, shape, or form, sell adultery - even even though it replace into he who secure the adultress who replace into approximately to be stoned, by employing asserting, "He who's without sin could solid the 1st stone." He taught us to no longer decide, nor to think of of ourselves as greater effectual than others only because of the fact of sins. Jesus can cleanse all sins, and so as quickly as one includes Jesus and repents basically, we are a similar in the previous God. Now, the 2nd way i'm going to respond to that's to show out that throughout some techniques, our church homes do fail. in the event that they do no longer coach that adultery is misguided, then they do no longer seem to be doing their jobs. we could desire to constantly enable all to come again to church, and we could desire to constantly no longer decide - and yet we do have a accountability to no longer withhold the fact of what's powerful and incorrect. and frankly, a number of our church homes fail at this.
