I need help quick, My cat is terrorizing my house. Climbs on the kitchen counter and the table. He has this thing with paper products. I need to get him off the counters, tables . It is ruining my marriage.

The best thing that worked was to put cookie sheets all over the counters. Make them just barely on the counters, with most of it hanging over the sides. Then when the cat jumps up, he'll land on the cookie sheet, and then they'll both fall to the floor. It'll make a huge noise, you'll know he's been up there, and it'll scare him so bad he'll run away. You have to be consistent about it, and keep the cookie sheets up there for a long time. When you eventually see that none of the cookie sheets have fallen to the floor, you'll know your cat has stopped jumping up there.

This might seem weird, but it doesnt hurt them at all. I did it to my two kittens and it works! You know the duster (air) cans that you can buy, for like cleaning your pc...etc..? When the kittens were on something that i didnt want them on or behind something i just snuck behind them and pressed the button. They dont like the noise and they wont do it again..and its harmless. Good luck! i have found that squirting water etc didnt work for my two bratts!

I have the same problem, but not the husband problem. I just pick them up and put them on the floor and we dont buy paper towels on the roll anymore because it seemed to be my cats favorite toy, we buy napkins and they leave them alone.
