I am a young, energetic 51 year old looking to change careers. I have worked in design and constuction estimating my whole life. I went to college for three years and I am bored and need a change of pace. I have an interest in the medical field, yet I need to go to attain a degree to pursue my interest. Unfortunately, I also have to pay for living expenses on top of my tuition. Are there any grants or scholarships that I qualify for? Any ideas would be great! Thanks!

There are probably not any grants out there. However, there might be some scholarships for it. Working tends to penalize the student to qualify for government grants. My brother got his MBA via student loans. I know of some nursing scholarships though, but medical field is pretty broad. However, your best option probably at this point is to attend the local community college where the tuition is cheaper and also has a wide range of opportunities in the medical field. I will include some information below. Good luck!
