When people say, "Life is short". i mean Life is the longest thing anyone ever does!! What can you do that's longer?

well first let's look at how old you are. I use to think the same thing up until high school but now that I'm a 25 year old mother of a toddler you do notice that like is to short. I guess this is mainly referring to the fact that once you have so many things to do there isn't enough time for everything when you least expect it a year or more goes by. If you have a child you can actually see the true speed that life has.

There is nothing you can do that is longer. That's being too literal. Life is short because no matter how long it is we just about always wish it could be longer. More time to get in time with your family, the one's you love and the things that make you happy. It means life is short because we are always left wanting more!

For me, Life seems like a drag because you aren't happy at where you're at or what you're doing or who you're with.

Life is to short means "Live life the way you want it." If you wait to do something you want, you may end up not having the time for doing it at all. There is no waiting for the right time because we really don't know what tomorrow brings. There is no right time for something. One minute you are here and the next you are six feet under or in an urn on a mantle.

I think people say that b/c soooo many humans do nothing but work and clean. They never have fun. If you did get hit by that bus tomorrow and you were on your death bed would you look back and say "damn! I wish I cleaned my house a little more!" When you are young, you think you will live forever, when you get older you understand that actually life is very short. You don´t have to do anything else but to die, and the longest thing one has to do is to be DEAD, well actually I don´t know, thank God I´m not dead yet. But who knows, perhaps it´s better to be dead than alive??? Sorry to say this to you, but nobody knows!!!

They are saying don't assume you have a lot of time here.

As you get older your perception of time goes very fast. To me a season feels like what a month use to feel like. And, a year feels like what 3 months felt like as a kid. It just keeps speeding up. You get busy and before you know it you are old.
