My anxiety is so bad.
Im so fustrated. Ive been sick for 5 weeks and
im fustrated enough that i want to cut.
Im trying to quit, i know i need help and im in counciling and i told my parents. But i stll want to.. I need to.
Please, please help

its just a bad way to releave sstress..

I've been there. My thing has always been self-punishment. I wanted to punish myself and cutting was a good way to do it, but it's dangerous and bad for you -- and honestly, it only makes things worse. Focus on wanting to stop. Try to come up with alternative things to do that are also relieving, like screaming into a pillow, taking a hot shower, crying hysterically, or stabbing a newspaper with a pencil. If those things don't help you, try something calming like reading, drawing, singing, breathing slowly...

Whatever you do, do not resort to cutting yourself again. I've been there and I realized that it's just a pathetic excuse. (Of course for you, it could be different) But what i learned to just think back on all the things that were good. Try to get out and talk to friends. Life is worthwhile. So live it to the fullest possible.

As of right now, i would do the rubberband thing.

think of the good times youve had with your family and freinds think what would happen if you died. How would they feel about it? some people want do do it for fun, some for the feeling of death at there front door, some do it just to see how long untill some one cares, sometimes even because of strees. Try to think of something else. If you need help read a book about it ive even read the book Cut. some times try to see yourself through someone elses point of view. for me if my anxiety is up i sit in front of the computer, talk to freinds and play some games it can help sometimes. Just think "if i cut now what if i cut later? will i go too deep?" just try to talk to a good friend one that you can trust. just e-mail me if you ever need advice on anything. i can allso just be someone 2 talk to.

Cut what? Your shins? So it looks like a weed whacker injury, just in case anyone asks? Nothing that could actually hurt you. If I was your Dad, I would call the police and have you institutionalized for reasons of "risk to self". Everyone needs attention, but this is over the top.
