Shirley Temple was a child actor along time ago and just cute as a bug in a rug. She later became the American Ambassador to Czechoslovakia.
Now Shirely Temple, well that's a different story. I think she invented the concept of fabric softener.

If your are under 50 years of age Shirely Temple (Black) is not of your movie generation.
She was a child actress of the late 30's and early 40's.

She was cute as a bug and had curly hair and perky dimples.
Later, yes, she was an ambassador.
Some of her movies were kinda racist, but to be fair, that was pretty popular back then.
And it's "ON the Good Ship Lollipop." Not "I'M a Good Ship Lollipop."
I do think you mean Shirley. If you actually mean "Shirely"...well, then, I don't know. That's not the person I'm thinking of.
Maybe that's some kind of Hobbit holy site, dunno.

Famous childhood actress and singer, who went on to do politics. There's even a non-alcoholic drink named after her. She's not particularly well-known for anything religious-wise, so I don't know why this question is here.
You know, Yahoo.com IS a search engine too. You could have just scrolled up to the very top of this same page and entered her name.

she was a famous child actress back in the 1930's. Later she married and became Shirley Temple Black, and I believe she spent time as a UN ambassador.

She was a very famous and popular child actress. At like age 5 she was starring in movie after movie. She usually sang and danced in her movies. Some of them are very cute and she was very talented. I think she later became an ambassador but I might be getting my child stars mixed up.
