Hello I was just wondering if anyone knew what was wrong with my dog, i've looked here but no many cases match mine. It all started a few days ago when she messed in the house (shes 7 years old and has never done it before). She had diarrhea. The next day she her diarrhea was not as bad, but she was constantly licking her privates. Now today she has no energy at all, sleeping all day and hasn't moved off the couch. Today was Thanksgiving in Canada and shes usually waiting out at the oven for it to be done, but this year she just slept on the couch, didn't even care and when we try to play with her she just lies there, I'm really starting to get worried. Taking to the vet is last option because it is really expensive. Any help / suggestions apreciated.

A fly went by and she got up all of a sudden and chased it, she came upstairs and is currently on my bed, she keeps closing her eye and i just noticed that her left all is bloodshot. Atleast she moved though.. anyone hear of this?

A vet is the only way that you will get a proper diagnosis. It could be multiple problems. If she isn't spayed she could have an infection in her uterus, or she could just have an intestinal upset.

Man, I know you don't wanna hear it but you need to take her to the vet. I can relate because I had to take one of my dogs to the vet to the tune of $ 200! ARRRGHHH!!

From what you are describing, it sounds like the dog might have worms. The constant licking is probably due to itching. Does she rub her butt on the floor?

Regardless, a vet trip is in order. Wish the best for you both!

See if there is a state run or shelter run vet that will likely charge less than a private vet. You have to take her to the vet if you don't want her to die. She's in obvious distress!

listen if your dog is like that ...i know it has a lot of money included but you should get her checked so nothing happens...because she might get even worse*

or if you have a friend and there mom is a vet maybe you could go to her and maybe she will charge you nothing?

At this point, taking her to a vet is a necessary option - she sounds ills, been listless too long and no one here can see her, test her, or is a vet.

Get help for her soon.

i would suggest to take her to a vet because she is 7 and there are several things that can cause different symptoms in any dog.
