There was the claim that we didn't know until the second tower was hit, but for 15 minutes or so, somebody knew about all the cell phone calls made from the air. Can someone show me an example of any other tower that pulverized from a pancake collapse or give a historical example of any plane in history that took a high rise to the ground by crashing into it?

yes - some people knew sooner, but the rest of us watching t.v. didn't know till the 2nd plane hit.
as for history, that was the First time a plane with that much jet fuel in it ever slammed into a building.
as you can clearly see from the video, the fires that the planes started (as well as the damage they caused upon impact) brought the buildings down.

I believe that president bush knew that the 1st tower was hit and didn't think that it was terrorist because of all the false alarms over the years and didn't really catch on until the 2nd one hit. But at the same time he was still reading to the children at the classroom in florida. it wasn't until the 3rd and 4th plane were hijacked that he thought to do something about it.

Once the Second Tower was hit Terrorism was suspect.
Terrorism was confirmed after the Pentagon was hit. The Cell calls were from ground to loved ones on flights across the USA telling them what happened.
Cell calls to passengers on Flight 93, saved an unknown site from being attacked. They suspected the third target would have been The White House, Congressional Building, or AF1.
The heroes of the day were the passengers of Flight 93 who caused the plane to crash in the Pennsylvania field.
The Towers Pancaked due to where they were hit and the Jet Fuel caused a fire hot enough to melt the steel support beams.

The certainty that it was an attack instead of a routine hijacking came after the second plane hit. The first plane strike could have been attributed to really lousy piloting by the hijacker.
Never before have buildings of this design been struck by high-speed jumbo jets. Now we have two nearly identical test cases with nearly identical results. Now we know how this building design responds to being rammed by a jumbo jet.
Both buildings collapsed in nearly identical patterns, demonstrating how this particular building design collapses when it experiences a structural failure.
In scientific circles, we call this 'empirical evidence' to understand the properties of a given system.
What I think is funny is that folks are not blaming the government for the collapse of the bridge on highway 580 after a fuel truck crashed and ignited. It was a steel and concrete bridge and, as the loonies like to say, gas doesn't burn hot enough to 'melt steel'.
Of course, the stupid people do not realize that the steel only needs to get hot to lose its strength. No melting necessary.

it was when the second plane hit the tower that everyone knew for sure, and don't buy into that "9/11 was an inside job" BS. there is plenty of evidence against it, alls it takes is a little looking on youtube.
