What is the price of milk where you live?

Specifically, if you buy 2 gallons it should be cheaper. In L.A. it's about $6.40 for 2 gallons of the store brand.

I live in NC, and milk does NOT cost six bucks at Wal-Mart. I think it's closer to $3 a gallon (a little more depending on the week), so what you're paying in LA isn't too bad. I would think it'd actually be a little cheaper though, since you're close to those happy California cows. :)

Well I won't be of much help I don't think, as I only buy organic milk and it costs $8.58 per gallon... we only buy 1/2 gallons at a time but I don't know how much non-organic milk costs. I'd say maybe $5 a gallon?

In my country, milk price for 1 litre in supermarket would cost you around 3.99 - 5.99 factory price depending on the branding and the company who sources the milk. If you purchase milk on the coffee-houses and cafe it ranges from $2.00 per 500ml to $6.00 per 500ml depending on the location of operation differs in every town, utility rates expenses, parking rates, mayor property & land assessment tax set by different mayors and govt utility billing for electricity, water and sewerages rates differs at every different state and state mayor frequency of operational collections for approvals/revoke of licenses and daily business operations differs by different town and state locations. Remember that fresh milk has to be cleared before the expiry date and depending on the town operation and expense charges to operate businesses, so it varies.....from town to town. If you ask the cow, the cow knows nothing about religion and collections, animals will just give you for free, because God give them free to live in this world
