Jesus does not lie...

No

Jesus Christ was a real person who lived on this earth ~2000 years ago. Jesus is God incarnated in a human body, and the only way we can get to the Father is by believing in Jesus' Death and Resurrection.

some believe the literal translation

but to me it has a much deeper meaning in the metaphoric translation-

the one way is through the heart of 'Christ' or Christ energy- to connect to the Divinity within, to actually be like him~ unconditionally loving, non-judgmental, with deep inner peace

much more deep and complex that just believing in the form of Jesus

Why do you ask such a question? " God is not a man that he should lie"-Number3 23:19. If everything else in the bible is true, why wouldn't that be? I mean if you think of it, its impossible for a man to get to heaven if he lives in sin. God hates sin and it makes him sick. Sin is like not bathing for days and God cant take the smell because God is infinitely righteous. The Bible states that we all have sinned and fall short of God’s glory.(Romans 3 v 23)It also says that the payment for those who sin is death or separation from God.(Romans 6 v 23) So seeing as everyone has sinned (whether you want to admit it or not) no-one is then able to enter heaven unless they clean their shoes! The truth is, JESUS DIED FOR YOU. God made the ultimate plan to get his loved children to spend the rest of eternity with him he place him self in a human body names Jesus making him God in the flesh (Human so he can die, God so he can raise again) Sin separates us from God and the penalty for sin is death. Since Jesus is the only one who never sinned yet he died physically and suffered unimaginable pain for us, we don't have to. Jesus payed the ultimate sacrifice and by having faith in him (not by paying a church) you receive entrance to the gates of heaven. God loves you and all his creation and wants to spend eternity with them (yes God is a weird dude). Though we are sinneres, God wants us anyway. "God is not willing that anyman should perish"-II Peter 3:9
So why would he lie to us

Yes. Or he was just wrong. There is NO concept of an intermediary in Torah. And if Jesus was indeed a Jew (as is claimed) then he would have known this.

No,the people that christ exposed, the ones that killed him for exposing their bogus lively hoods misrepresented him in the future,by supporting a phylosophy that continues today.they are called usurpers, they live off the values that other people create.christ was trying to open the minds of people so they could lead instead of follow.

Jesus had no need to lie.
Jesus would consider lying as alligning himself with the devil.

It is not something I believe. If Jesus lived, I believe he was a man, that's all.
