I don't believe you will have to spend alot at the vets. I found a starving baby kitten that hadn't eaten for 8 days and I know this cause it was a barn cat I was keeping a eye on ad all of a sudden one of the kittes was missing. We tore the hay apart but never found him. 8 days later I heard a faint noise in teh barn and it was the baby. He was completely emaciated, eyes crusted over and I rushed him to the vets. They sent him home with liquid antibotics and said good luck. They expected him to die also. I know I only spent money on the meds and visit and he lived! Now hes 22lbs 4years later.

If you can get him to swallow the milk from a dropper and keep him warm (try a hot (not boiling) hot water bottle wrapped in a towel), then there is just a chance, but I have had animals die, and the first definite sign was that they were cold, especially if the mouth was ice cold when I could get a finger in. I don't think they suffered, and it was always very sad, but it is part of life that some of them won't make it. You are wonderful to be so caring and I hope this works for you. Oh, and all vets don't think of money first , last and always. It depends on the amount of work they do. If there is nothing that can be done, very very often there is no charge. Could you make a phone call? Your local friendly vet might give you advice, perhaps even ask you to call and set your mind at ease about fees. Good luck !!

theres not much you can really do. I am sorry but this kitten needs medical treatment by a vet. Many vets have plans if people have financial problems or can't make full play. You need to call around vets and explain and see if they can help, then if you still don't have a solution and the kitten is unwell I suggest you give it up to your local humane society or pet rescue who will take good care of it and then find it a home. Even if you need to give it to the humane society, that isn't bad because least your trying to help it if thats the only way.... and they will nurture it and it will undoubtedly get a home, who doens't want a kitten eh?

You needed to keep it on a heating pad because it cannot control it's body temperature yet. Also, use a medicine dropper to feed it milk because that way you can put the milk into his mouth and it will drink it.
You don't need to be breeding cats if you do not have enough money to take the cat to the vet.

I'm sorry to hear about this, Kimberly.
Unfortunately, the mother cat knew the kitten was sick. That's why she abandoned him. About all you can do is love until he dies.
Now- there is one chance to save him, though it's a slim one. It could be that his little bladder and bowels need to be stimulated. Use a damp q-tip or cotton swab to imitate a mother cat's tongue on the baby, until he empties everything. Then maybe he'll be able to take the bottle.
If that doesn't work, either he'll die by himself or he'll have to be put down.
Again, I am so sorry.

Call a shelter and explain the problem and they will find someone to care for it for free or call a vet nearby and ask them what to do or have them give you names of shelter to call that will take it off your hands. They specialize in taking care of little kitten. Call Right Now before the little one dies. And then take the mom to the humane society to get fixed. Tell them you don't have the money. They may do it for free.

A puppy keep or vet could be waiting to offer you some thing referred to as "kitten milk". it is have been given each and all of the main suitable nutritional ranges and so directly to assist the kitten. certainly one of my cats had a kitten some months in the past, it replaced into born almost a month early and tiny. the mummy cat refused to feed it and everytime we placed it close to her she might growl and get very agressive in direction of it. no one concept it would stay to tell the tale, inclusive of the vet yet my significant different's mum has raised it (i might have carried out it myself yet unable to feed it generally as a results of artwork commitments) she fed it the kitten formulation and saved it heat in an electric powered puppy mattress. it is now approximately 3 months previous and arising right into a captivating little cat. i might advise you get it off cows milk as quickly as possible because of the fact curiously it may kill them because of the fact their bodies can not technique the milk. The kitten milk comes as a powder I comprehend, you combine it with water and make certain it is heat and feed it to them by way of a particular bottle. i'm hoping your kitten survives and that i'm particular it will reward you on your kindness with many purrs. :)

Hi,this is so sad, fill a hot water bottle to keep it warm if you have one and try warming the milk up and dipping your finger into it then put your finger into the kittens mouth.

It sounds like you have a runt. The mother abandoned it because it wasn't strong enough.
Take it to a shelter. They'll have people who can work with it, and if they can't save it, you'll be free of any costs resulting.
