As others have suggested, the quote is saying that one can have a cursed, unhappy life by not accepting genuine love from a woman who does not meet your standards of beauty.
We probably all know single people who could have made a happy marriage, but the only potential mates interested in mating with them were not, in some sense. good enough. The man or woman they thought good enough did not reciprocate their interest.
This quote certainly exaggerates the matter by calling the woman not plain, but ugly. Just as beauty is more than skin deep, so is ugliness. Anyone who merits the term ugly probably has an inner ugliness that might well disqualify her for successful marriage.

by cursed they are saying that your values are flawed. When you reject love from any one just due to the fact that they are not superficially beautiful you are corupting your own values and becoming shallow. In many theories including that of karma, a person that is shallow will only receive shallow things and never be truly happy. So basically if you are a shallow chauvinistic bastard then you will never be truly happy.

if someone loves you and refuse to love them your selfish and if wait for a pretty girl that may never happen.
