Why does it have to be God's fault? It's because people can be ignorant and selfish in their thoughts and actions.

How many different ways can this question be asked? Is this the "Im an atheist. First time to Y!A" question? I think I see this question at least once a day in some form or fashion.

To answer your question... You got us Christians! Your point is proven. Because there is suffering in the world, then God doesnt exist and if he did then he certainly isnt loving. Just slap me silly and call me an atheist!

Beacause MEN (with my best regards to female gender, by MEN i mean both men and women, as in mankind, humanity) make the suffering happen. As God IS love and good, etc. he cannot just throw the thunder down from the Olymp and make it all go away by killing those who make the world such a horrible place. You cannot kill someonw you love, right?
However, putting the blame on God for all the bed stuff in the world but not giving Him any credits for anything good is not fair from us, wouldn't you agree? And, if we, inour speculation, start from our point of view, if we are not rightfull, then who are we to complain? And, at the end, doesn't this answer thy question? Some philosopher/theologist a long time ago said: "when you get to the very essence of the evil, you will find nothing"! Evil doesn't not exist outside of humans, however humans are not, by default, evil - they chose who they want to be (many, if not most, psihologists I belibe would agree with me).

Let's have an example: if every single person who has monthly income over 2000 USD gave away 5 dollars of his/hers monthly cheque, and if those who are in charge of the mission were not corrupted but would rightfully disperse the money collected to those who have nothing, there woldn't be more povery in the world. However, most of the times, the new lamborgini is of a higher (highest) priority. And those people, as well as everybody else, have their right, chance and liberty to choose their life path. Everybody gets his/hers chance. And that chance is called a life, not a moment. And life is only one, but it takes just a moment to end. Therefore, live every moment as if it was your last, for one will be - and make every moment worth calling it a life.

That is my own point of view. And I thank God for giving me all the possible opportunities to chose and make my own decisions, and not making me a robot and chosing instead of me.

Peace!

i'm so sick of people asking this question it's because he gave us free will and we do it to each other you see people have always been corupt even since the begining of time
but it's not just like god stoped intervening he has never stoped anything horrible in the span of human history with the exodust being the one exeption.
but he has always just sad there and watched us kill each other from jesus' cruixiction to the holocaust to 9/11
but i an certain that even those he doesn't stop it he crys that we are so corupt and hate ful to one another.
but all that is the devils work and there can be no good with out evil and i think some times it's human nature to over look the good and just focus on the bad. because you make the world sound like it's some horrible place but there so much good in the world 2

God has created, is running, and will destroy the Universe. God is the Origin and Destination of the Universe. God was, is, will be everywhere, God was never Created and will never die / be destroyed. God is beyond Life and Death. All religions of world teach human way to get close to God. You give your Best, God will give thy Best. Ask God for help and forgive, God will help and forgive you. Pray; Worship and Thank God for everything. Remember wherever there is Happiness in Life, there will be Sorrow. To get Happiness, you must master Sorrow. For Success in Life; Believe in Self and God, Learn from Past, Concentrate in Present, Plan for Future. Have control on, be the master of, not the slave of your body, senses, and mind. Purpose of this Life is to Gain and Share utmost Knowledge and Experience to differentiate and choose Right, Good, God against Wrong, Bad, Devil. Set your Desire level perfect or OK to be brave, no low to be coward, no high to be cruel. You have rights of Survival, Self Defence, and Freedom.

Because we live on earth where evil lives, people are filled with hate, jealousy, murder, greed, and people have rejected God and his ways.So what can we expect when we decide to live according to our own wills rather then Gods. Many reject his answers, they say he does not exist so we get what we get.Person who fears God and loves Him will still suffer this side of heaven but eternity is full of love and no more suffering. But people reject Jesus as well as their way to heaven, and Christians are told to stop preaching.Seek God while he may be found, because there will be a time when it becomes far worse then you see now.Shalom

People have power to act upon free will, that's why there is suffering, God didn't murder people, evil deranged humans did that, God hasn't started wars on countries, evil people have, God has given humans certain freedom, so what ever decisions we make and paths we choose are not from God, they are done by us. It is the things that are totally out of out control, like a volcano erupting, that's natural and if anyone is hurt or injured during that, well its a natural disaster, part and parcel on this Earth God has given us to dwell on, which we are not caring for. Evil is started by evil people.

The suffering is a direct response to humans NOT following God's laws. God set up this world and its laws for the benefit of mankind. When mankind rebels against those laws, suffering ensues. It's simple cause and effect.

God should not be blamed for all the wrong doings in our lives. He set us up in this world due to media etc there seems to be excessive evil in this world but there are good things also, I believe that if you do the best in life to be a descent person and try your best God will judge you accordingly. I am a christian but i would do anything to protect my family if dangered, Does this mean i am bad, I will only know when i meet my maker. God bless

This is the most asked question in the world, christianity related, I mean.

Basically, you form your own opinions on this. You said "If God exists..." and then you gave a reason that you seeminly feel suggests that God does not, so then, you answered your own question?

It's all about having faith in something, and if you don't, then you don't. If you do, good for you.

Get yerself an opinion and don't change it fer nothing!

Why do good parents who are supposedly loving parents have offspring that are rapists, murderers, embezzlers, and other scum that cause suffering? Can we "blame" those parents for their children's actions? NO!

Same with God. We as His children are responsible for not following Him and His path of righteousness. WAAAAY back in the Garden of Eden, the Devil tempted Eve who sinned and soon after Adam sinned. Since then we have been in the direct line of fire between Satan and his target, God. Satan is to blame for there being so much suffering in the world.

So next, why doesn't God intervene? He will. He is giving manking time to come to Him.
