Why should Israel split Jerusalem? Should not the same standard Muslims use on non-Muslims be applied back on them regarding Israel?

I think the Israelis have offered some pretty generous deals already. Nothing they have given up has ever lead to peace. Frankly, I don't think anything ever will. So there is no reason to give up anything.

Yes, the same should go. Israel should NOT split Jerusalem.
If the Muslim faith originates from the Jewish faith, which it did until someone changed it for selfish desires and power to Muslim/Islam, then regardless if the alleged prophet was taken at the point of the rock, it belonged to Israel first and foremost. Shame shame on those that are splitting it, they will be dealt with by the Lord our God, the God of Israel!!

They shouldn't. Do they think that any good would come of it? It is interesting that they Israelis are so quick to give up what has been proclaimed as rightfully theirs, and that the Muslims are so hasty to take what is not, and was never meant to be, theirs. Why does Israeli make itself weak? Because the majority of the country has detached itself from it's Root and Salvation, the only reason they have been blessed and called to be a nation among nations.

Oh, Israel! Return to the arms of your G-d, your light and salvation! He loves you and misses you. And from you will come great things; your land will again be yours, your lives will overflow with abundance, and your hearts will be full to the point of bursting with holy joy.

Baby, I can't offer much of an answer to this question but I do feel for Israel. Jerusalem is their holy city, and it must be dreadful to have to give even a tiny bit of it up. I can draw meagre parallels between what is happening in Greece. Macedonia is being considered 'not greek' and even Alexander the Great is being taught in Skopya that even he wasn't a Greek. Kinda like taking away our pride in a sense. And Greeks are Proud people (to a fault sometimes).

I am appalled that the leaders in Israel would even consider this. God gave them that land, they fought and won the land and to give part of Jerusalem away is unbelievable.

I really don't understand religion.
The sons of God, from all religions, are fighting for the land and the material things in this world. Is a tragedy.

I prefer to sail free in my sailboat.
