Do like I do ... I buy one... Just kidding ...
There is a section on GOOGLE that has the best recipe I've ever had for apple pie and it's very easy!! Just search around for it. The pie I'm talking about has a crumbly top crust made out of flour, butter, sugar, and cinnamon. Good Luck!!

Get a double crust in the freezer section and defrost.
Take your granny smith apples and peel, core, and chop them up finely and put into a large deep skillet
Add butter, maple syrup, cinnamon, brwon sugar, vanilla. Cook until soft and then set aside to cool for a few minutes before putting into pie crust.
Add some flour into the mixture to help with thickening it up.
Bake according to crust instructions. YUMMO

you can buy premade dough instead. i recommend the one in the refridgerator section - not the freezer. it's usually in a red box and you get two crusts (one for top, one for bottom).
Easy Apple Pie
8 medium apples
1 T. butter
1 C. white sugar
1 tsp. grated nutmeg
1 TBS cinnamon
½ C. butter
2 C. flour
pinch salt
cold water
Make your dough for this apple pie as follows: Rub butter into flour, add salt and mix in enough cold water to make a nice dough. Roll out enough dough to line a deep pie dish. Line dish with the dough and fill with apple mixture. Core apples, chop and stew til softened, about 15 minutes. Add butter, sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg - mix well. When you have poured this apple mixture into the pie dough, top with another layer of dough for the top - pierce a couple of knife holes in top. Glaze with beaten egg and bake for 30 minutes in moderate oven.
