It's not 'capitol' punishment, it's 'capital' punishment. That means that there is a 'death penalty' that CAN be given to people who are convicted of committing certain crimes, like murder or kidnapping. I do NOT believe in capital punishment, because I think that is a 'too easy' answer for the criminal if s/he did do it, and it's just plain WRONG if the person was convicted wrongly and isn't found out to be 'not-guilty' until after they have died ... and that has happened in this country (U.S.), by the way.

Capital punsihment is a decision made by a jury and or a judge. It means terminating the life of a convicted murder, traitor, serial killer, etc., by lethal injection, hanging, firing squad or electricution. Some people are against capital punishment, I am not one of them.
