We were on the Freedom of the Seas for the last week of July. We loved it. We were a group of 10, with ages ranging from 11 to 78. (family) The ship is great. My 23, 20 and 16 year old all said it was the best ship they've been on (and they have all been on more than 15 cruises). The wave rider was a real challenge and mastered by all the kids. The shows were pretty good and the food was wonderful. We loved Portofinos...a definite worthwhile night for only $20/person. The ship was spotless and the staff very friendly. It is a huge ship and often difficult to find one another. My mom ended up needing a wheelchair for a few days which they graciously loaned her, no charge, even to take off the ship in port. We love Royal better than the others and this was their best ship yet!

There are a few different types of massage - Swedish, deep tissue, hot rocks, facial, etc. There are usually different lengths available also - full body, half body, 1 hour, 30 minutes, etc.

I recently got a 1 hour Swedish massage on a Princess ship and it cost $119 plus tip. This should give you an idea of what you are looking for.

I was on RC's Majesty of the Seas a few years ago and had a good time. Enjoy your trip.

My husband and I each had 3 treatments and spent around $2000. Massages are about $100 plus tip for an hour. One of the best things is the seaweed wrap one- talk about spoiled! It's a couple hundred$ but really nice!
Avoid the acupuncture. Total waste of time.
I've never been a facial fan but had an awesome one on the ship. This was Norwegian CL.

Anywhere from $99 - $300 depending on what you want. They always have "specials" the days you are in port, usually half price. Those are the days I normally go. Days at sea are more expensive - and crowded.

My husband and I did a couples massage on the Empress of the Seas. It was an hour long and it was around $300. Prices are usually higher than land spa's. They usually offer discounts on port days as well.
