Is it wrong for a mand of God to use bad language?

I don't know of any mand or man that is of god. He doesn't live here in any physical form. That is the only way they could be of god. Now you would have said, Is it wrong for a man that talks for God to use bad language? I would have say no because the commandments didn't say no bad language because that could be anything not jut the four letter ones.

Yes.
Why?
1. It's ugly..it doesn't sound good
2. it's mostly beacuse someone has a strong rage in that word and puts the rage into the word, thus it's not the wor dthat is wrong, but the feeling it creates, and a man of God should control his rage
3. a man of God is sanctified, a temple of the holy spirit, thus it should not be filfthy
4. it can be regarded as cursing--> a man of God blesses rather than curses
5. plain dumb, and inappropriate in a civilized community:)

If you took every word that is wrote in the Bible to heart, you will see a lot of it contradicts itself. But for a man of God to swear or use bad language, as for what the Bible says, it a sin, and all sins are equal.

Define "bad". It is wrong for a man of God to do anything that reflects badly on Christ. There is no commandment against words only their usage. Don't use any words dirty, clean or otherwise in a fashion that makes you a bad witness.

I think that if anyone truly believe in God, and loves him, he would not use bad language. Bad language chases away the Spirit of God.

I was always taught that using cuss words just shows your ignorance. You were not smart enough to come up with something less vulgar then do not speak.
The guy that told the story of the old man he spoke with (sorry I forgot your name) is a perfect example. Think before you speak. The way he worded it was perfect.

Yes it is. The bible says so ( I do not know what verse). Do not speak vulgar. If you say the word God with it, than it is a bad word. but if you do not, it is just vulgar, and yes, it is wrong. So if you are speaking vulgar, stop and follow the rules of God and do not commit that sin any longer.

once an old man and i were discussing profanity. he told me that if you cuss without deciding to in advance this could be a sign that you are not in complete controll of what comes out of your mouth and this could put you in a position you dont want to be in.
i like this because it doesnt address right or wrong by others opinion it deals with how well you govern your own actions`.
