I personally think probably Hilmer didn't want to fight Aaron, but could be wrong. The pressure that Pryor applies will be too much for Hilmer to take. I believe holding on and employing stalling tactics is all Kenty can do to stay in the ring with Pryor, and he'll hang tough but take a bad licking. You didn't discourage Pryor and all he did was throw combos every minute of every round. Tough matchup for a guy like kenty...he'd have a much better shot at a guy like zab judah.

I'm going with Aaron by 7th round knockout.

Kenty was a good fighter but not of the calibre of Pryor. Pryor would swarm and overwhelm Kenty with punches from everywhere. Kenty didn't have enough power to keep Pryor off of him. I see this fight going about 6 rounds with Pryor the winner by knockout.

Pryor easily. Kenty was a home boy from the Kronk gym, but was destroyed by Sean O'Grady (at a nice 4-1 odds)

good question. i believe it was emanuel steward who wanted no part of aaron pryor. kenty being a championship fighter i hoped would not be afraid of pryor. but it would not matter. aaron was stronger, faster, just simply better than hilmer kenty and howard davis. look what sean ogrady did to kenty and then he lost to roberto elizando. could you imagine what pryor would do. pryor by a blowout

You are kidding, right? Aaron would destroy Hilmer, and it would not take very many rounds. He would knock him out in less than 5 rounds.

Pryor would take him out in 10.
